Following the success of her much praised album, “No. 8”, Caroline Henderson releases her 9th solo album, “Keeper of the Flame” on October 26 2009. The album contains jazz classics by Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and Nina Simone, as well as interpretations of contemporary artists such as Bob Dylan, Tom Waits og PJ Harvey.
Nature Boy
The first single to be released is Nature Boy by Eden Ahbez. “This song has been interpreted by many artists from Miles Davis and Sarah Vaughan to David Bowie and Marvin Gaye”, Caroline says, “The lyrics on love are beautiful: ‘The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return’.”
